Komodo National Park still in lead to represent Indonesia, beating out Lake Toba, Krakatau and more
Zurich/Switzerland, Dec. 10, 2008—As of tomorrow, Dec. 11, there will be 21 days left to vote for the national nominees representing the 434 countries in the global race to choose the Official New7Wonders of Nature.
On Dec. 31, the first stage of voting in this second New7Wonders campaign will end. Only the top national nominee will represent each country moving forward, and these will be announced on the New7Wonders website on Jan. 7, 2009.
Should the Komodo Park represent Indonesia to the world?
The Komodo National Park is now number one on the list of Indonesian
national nominees. The people of Indonesia can confirm this OR can vote
to support another of the national nominees. There are only 21 days left
to influence this choice!
